Dr. Lisa Zapata has been working at NC State University since 1998. As the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor in the Division of Academic and Student Affairs, her areas of responsibility include Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC, and Naval ROTC; Military and Veteran Services; Student Health Services; Counseling Center and Prevention Services; Career Development Center; Fraternity and Sorority Life; Student Conduct; Student Legal Services; Student Media; and Wellness & Recreation.
Prior to working at NC State, Lisa served for three years as a career counselor in a federally funded job training program.
Dr. Zapata received her bachelor’s in Psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill and both her masters in Counseling and her doctorate in Educational Research and Policy Analysis from NC State University. Dr. Zapata is also a Licensed Professional Counselor.
