Summer Start at NC State is an opportunity for incoming students to jump-start their transition to college. The five-week program is a way for incoming students to become acclimated with college courses, staff, other students and the NC State community.
The Cooperative Education program allows students to gain real work experience through job placement with employers seeking future employees. This year the Career Development Center celebrated a milestone with over 1,000 students participating in co-ops during the school year.
This day is meant to engage students in giving back to the university while also educating them about where their tuition dollars go and why their choice to give back makes a difference.
