Academic Advising Programs and Services

While you’re at NC State, Academic Advising Programs and Services helps you discover what you’re passionate about through the Exploratory Studies program, and pairs you with a personal advisor who will support and encourage you along the way.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you by developing a customized academic plan, connecting you to resources and high impact experiences, and helping you achieve your academic goals to create a well-rounded learning experience both inside and outside the classroom.

Academic Success Center

Formerly the University Tutorial Center, the Academic Success Center provides NC State students with tutoring services, both drop-in and scheduled, as well as peer mentoring and writing support.

The Academic Success Center is now located in newly-renovated D.H. Hill, Jr. Library on Main Campus.

Student Success GPS is a one-stop platform that helps you navigate your college courses, stay organized, and keep you connected with your advisor whenever you need them.

Disability Resources

The Division of Academic and Student Affairs is committed to ensuring that no qualified student with a disability at NC State is excluded from, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity.
