Serve and Lead Your Community

At NC State you have the chance to become a leader not only among the Wolfpack, but in the world around you.

Be a Leader

From the moment you arrive on campus, the tools and training you need to start making a difference in your community right away are at your fingertips. Through Student Leadership and Engagement, there is the Leadership Development Program, a series of foundational workshops that are designed to engage and prepare new leaders.

There is also a Greek Leaders Retreat that inspires campus fraternity and sorority members to learn about new volunteer opportunities and become better representatives for their organizations.

Serve Your Community and Beyond

You can also get involved in countless service projects in Raleigh and beyond. You might mentor a child, package meals for families in need or run for a cause during the Krispy Kreme Challenge. Or, you might travel overseas as part of an Alternative Service Break trip to help build or rebuild a community.

Join a Student Org

NC State boasts over 600 student organizations, many of which focus on serving communities throughout Raleigh and beyond. The Student Leadership and Engagement office can help you find an opportunity that fits your goals, or you can explore the Get Involved student portal to find unique opportunities to engage with your peers.
