Lisa Zapata
Bio
Lisa Zapata serves as a senior associate vice chancellor for the Division of Academic and Student Affairs.
Zapata began working at NC State in 1998, serving in progressively responsible leadership roles within the Division of Student Affairs for 14 years and providing leadership within the Division of Academic and Student Affairs for the past 10 years. As the senior associate vice chancellor, she provides support to Air Force, Army, and Naval ROTC; Career Development Center; Counseling Center and Prevention Services; Jeffrey Wright Military and Veteran Services; Office of Student Conduct; Student Health Services; Student Legal Services; Student Media; and Wellness and Recreation.
Zapata received her bachelor’s in Psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill and both her master’s in Counseling and her doctorate in Educational Research and Policy Analysis from NC State. She is also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
