Michelle Bruno, Ph.D., LPC, LCMHC-S (she/her) is the Assistant Director for Training at the North Carolina State University Counseling Center, where she leads clinical training initiatives and supervises early career clinicians. A licensed clinician and supervisor in North Carolina and Pennsylvania, she brings over 15 years of experience as a counselor educator and former faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a strong focus on developing clinicians and fostering professional growth. Her work integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and resilience-based approaches to help individuals build psychological flexibility and align with their values. Dr. Bruno serves on the Training and Supervision Committee of the American College Counseling Association (ACCA) and is a past president of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association, reflecting her commitment to mentorship, leadership, and advancing the counseling profession.
