Bio

Sarah Booth serves as the Director of the Academic Success Center (ASC) at NC State University. A “Double Wolfpack” alum, Sarah earned both her BS in Applied Mathematics and MS in Mathematics Education from NC State. Her journey with the ASC is a true full-circle story; she began in 2013 as a student employee and since then has served in nearly every capacity within the center before being appointed as Director in 2025.

With her dual background as a mathematician and educator, Sarah is deeply passionate about fostering critical thinking and resilience skills in students. Originally from Tennessee, she has called the Raleigh area home for over a decade. She currently lives in Apex with her husband, Grant (a fellow NC State alum), and enjoys cooking, hiking, and escaping to the beach whenever possible.
