Bio

Savannah serves as the Program Director for the THRIVE Living-Learning Village in University Housing at NC State. In this role, she supports first-year students’ transition to college through intentional programming, co-curricular learning, and community development. Prior to this, Savannah worked in Residence Life for five years at both Tulane University and NC State. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and her M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs from Western Carolina University. Savannah is a PhD student at NC State in the Higher Education Equity, Opportunity, Justice program. Savannah has over eight years of training and facilitation experience, where she has served as a traveling facilitator on various professional development topics for her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, conducted student staff and graduate assistant training sessions, presented at conferences, and co-taught a master’s-level course.
