Arts NC State
By fostering collaboration, coordination, shared resources, cross-promotion and mutual support among its programs, Arts NC State enriches the lives of students while serving the community, region and state. Arts NC State boasts visual art programs at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design and the Crafts Center as well as performing arts programs in dance, music, theatre and NC State LIVE, whose mission is to connect artists and audiences in a meaningful exploration of the diverse cultures and issues that define our communities and world.

If you play an instrument or want to share your vocal skills, you’re sure to find a home in NC State’s music department.
Regardless of your major, the Department of Performing Arts and Technology provides educational and performance opportunities for student and community participants through a variety of musical experiences and academic courses. Some of those include the symphonic band, the Power Sound of the South marching band, the NC State Jazz Orchestra, the State Chorale and several a cappella groups. So, what are you waiting for?
